Creative Comp Artist In this position, the candidate will be a critical member of a team that provides creative services to the company sales and marketing departments. In this role you will be responsible for creating COMP PACKAGING for a consumer products line of goods. Before new products are launched and before the products are in full manufacturing production; the retail packaging is created manually so that they can be presented at tradeshows, customer preview presentations, media presentations and to potential new customers. The ideal candidate will be upbeat, creative, and have a BFA degree, Strong artistic and or certification in Graphic Design. This is a "resume builder" position for recent graphic design graduates. Apply for this job Copywriter In this position you will be responsible for writing creative and technical copy with equal skill and dedication to excellence. Job requires you to write in different genres and styles easily and quickly. Must be a sharp-eyed proofreader and enjoy tracking down information and following up on questions and issues. This team-oriented environment needs someone with exceptional people skills who can handle multiple assignments easily, including performing as an individual copy-writing contributor while managing the performance of the whole copy team. • Write copy for packages and instructions • Create names, brand product stories and character profiles • Manage multiple projects • Monitor legal, and regulatory requirements. • Proofread completed materials and acquire editorial approvals. • Collaborate with product development teams (marketing, graphic design, engineering, product design) to understand product features and positioning. • Attend status meetings to provide updates on progress, adherence to schedules and identify priorities. The ideal candidate will possess the following: •Bachelors Degree in English/Creative Writing. •A minimum of 4+ years demonstrated experience writing copy for package and/or graphic design and production required. •Demonstrated technical skills such as grammar, spelling and effective communication. •Exceptional attention to detail. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as computer skills in the Macintosh O/S. You will work closely with VP and Art Director and multiple creative teams to ensure a high level of brand continuity and consistency across a wide range of product categories. You will be responsible for presenting and recommending ideas and design solutions Must be comfortable collaborating with internal and external partners to distill varying points of view into one concise art direction Awareness of marketplace trends Apply for this job Packaging Designer-Instructional Designer Under the direction of an Art Director, you will contribute to the overall creation and implementation of collateral designs that deliver instructions and or translate brand messages while maximizing current technologies and trends. Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to; understanding brand strategy, marketing objectives and collaborating with brand art director for synergy of brand creative across platforms. You will also be responsible for conceptualizing and executing collateral concepts, including print ads, cross-sells, activity books, posters, instructions, logos and typography that convey brand messaging, communication goals and look. You will oversee cost, approvals and the use of internal and external team members, including copywriters, illustrators, photographers, design resources and pre-press as needed to drive multiple projects. You will effectively participate and contribute in brainstorm sessions and consistently using creativity, foresight and good design judgment in developing and applying marketplace trends (e.g. competitive graphics, styles, fashion, lifestyles, etc). A Bachelors Degree required; MBA a plus.
